I have been trying to burn a cd from a recently purchased set of songs. Unfortunately, I keep getting the same error message: "...unable to complete burn due to medium write error." The burn (for an audio cd) seems to put data down for all 15 songs, but only one song is actually burned. This has happened on all 7 attempts! If I do a data cd, all songs are burned. I've changed burn rate speeds to 4x and it has made no difference.
