Hey all,

I'm looking for some feedback on various memory cleaners/optimizers for OS X.

I googled and found a few different programs but would like some firsthand feedback especially if I'm going to have to buy one.

I mainly need one to free memory for going into Win7 (Fusion). I've found that Win7 works best with about 1.5-2GB of free memory and that usually requires me quitting iTunes and Firefox. I "only" have 4GB of ram on my iMac.

Thanks
David

Generally speaking, Macs do not need memory management. optimizing software because Mac OS X itself manages RAM extremely well. However, if still needed, check out "iFreeMem".

This may not exactly be apples to apples, but my iPhone certainly benefits with one. I have a 3G and several times throughout the days my free mem drops under 10MB and starts to bog down. I free memory up, getting back up to 20-30 and it starts working fine again.
