I have a iMac 2.8Ghz 24". It has the 2Gb (2-1Gb moduals) that came in it from Apple. I am thinking about ordering a upgrade 4Gb (2-2gb moduals) for my iMac from Crucial. Will I be able to put the memory that comes out of my iMac into my MacBook 2.16Ghz 13"? It now has the 1gb (2-512 module) that came in it from Apple. I'm tring to up grade both machines by just getting the upgrade for my iMac and transfer the memory that is in the iMac to my MacBook??

Thx. They are both DDR2. However the iMac has PC 6200 CL=6 800mhz and I want to put it into a machine (MacBook) that has PC 5300 CL=5 667Mhz. Will the memory work ok attheslower speed?
