Can anyone tell me if this memory module (kingston) is compatible with the 1.67 G4 powerbook?

1024MB 400MHz DDR Non-ECC CL3 (3-3-3) DIMM Value RAM

(see product here: http://www.take2.co.za/product.php?id=18891)

My system profiler says I've currently got:
PC2700U-25330

Will the 400mhz module work on this machine?

No, because the subject memory is a DIMM and you need an SODIMM.

The Kingston module you want is the KTA-PBG4333/1G -- no other 1 Gb Kingston module is guaranteed to be compatible

Crucial's number is CT12864X335AP

Either buy memory branded Crucial or by memory with the brand Micron Original as they are Crucial's supplier. I bought my RAM at a local OEM shop and it was about half the price of going through crucial yet it is branded Crucial on the chip. So look around!

While that may work, you shouldn't only buy from Crucial. Shop around, but I'd recommend only buying RAM that's completely guaranteed to work by the seller. If the RAM works, you won't notice a difference, whether you bought it from Crucial, a reseller, or anywhere else. It's when it doesn't work that you'll notice it. It's really important to have that safety net in case it doesn't work.

I've always recommended going to Data Memory Systems, as they've got great prices, and guarantee everything to work.
