Hi I work for a company doing graphics. We have a number of MACPROs (Cheese Graters) newer imacs, ipads and iphones. All running various versions of OS from 10.6.8 to 10.9 that are networked together through a server.
We are having issues with maxing out our data with Network Solutions of over 20 gigs a month...
None of us (as far as I know) have any reason to get anywhere near that amount.
Looking at the USEAGE bars at Network Solutions a lot of this info goes back and forth uploads and downloads at night and OFF regular 8-5 when we are all working.
Screen sharing is on almost all the machines and the activities monitor shows a large amount of data being sent via screen sharing. Also NORTON Symantic is running on every machine. YUCK!
Also most of the machines are networked via WiFi.
We have run Techtools on all the machines as well as MAcScan and everything is fine EXCET that Macscan found a KEYLOGGER on my machine which I removed.
But still this problem is getting worse.
Any suggestions on where and how the data is going back and forth at such a huge rate?
Thanks
