memory leaks

If I use my macbook all 24 hours a day. do not turn it off when slip, because of downloading... I need to reboot my mac sometime ?

I reboot my mac infrequently but I do need to reboot it.

Yes, there are apps that have memory leaks, and some apps are poor users of resources. I'm looking at you VMware. Still unlike windows that you need to reboot frequently, OSX can go extended periods without reboots.
