Hi all,
I have recently bought one more Macintosh Classic and Im experiencing a problem.
It is a Macintosh classic with 2 MB ram system 6.
In the beginning it was working.Booting up system 6 (greek) and has an antivirus software also.
I opened to clean it and install another 2 MB ram that i had spare and then there was the common capacitor problem.
I cleaned it up at dish washer and now I have this.
"we are very sorry for system error Memory manager error"
There is no chime sound but it does say "welcome to macintosh" with a happy mac at start.
How can i solve this?
Thank you.
EDIT: It doesn't boot from Rom also.(Command-Option-X-O)
There is a message to rebuilt the desktop but when i press ok it boots again with the same error
Changed the hard disc (from my other classic) and the same.
Changed the Rom (from one more spare logic board) and the same.
EDIT 2:
Tried disabling (with shift at start up) the extensions without helping at all.
EDIT 3 :
Booted from ROM,then opened and put out from system folder all the possible apps that may cause this problem.
Nothing.
Also i have one more question. Is it possible this to happen from bad capacitors because i cant hear any chime sound. Also from control panel when Im pressing a sound to play i have one more error that force me to restart.
