Ok, so I finally decided to upgrade my macbook's ram. Got a 8gb kit from cruical. All was well for about a week, then my computer would randomly lock up for minutes at a time. Music would also skip durring playback. I even got a kernal panic at one point. And now my machine takes a full 5 minutes to boot
I have tried everything it seems, including reinstall, using only one module of ram, resetting PRAM ect...
My question is, should I send the ram back for a warranty replacement or get a refund and buy memory elsewhere? And if I do get a refund should I just stick with 4gb?
