I purchased the late 2007 iMac and put in 3 gigs of memory back then, with the decreasing prices of memory now, i'm curious if I would see an increase in anything if i changed the machine to 4 gigs from the 3...is it worth the 50-60 bucks for the 4 gig kit?

Thanks

Depends on what do you do. If you already have 3GB you must have 2GB + 1GB, right? Then you just need to buy one 2GB chip more, which is 27$ from Crucial

Depends on what you're doing.
Do you have many applications open at the same time and use them frequently?

Also there is this little application, which could tell, if you're in need of more RAM: http://www.hillmanminx.net/dinmm/index.html

older screenshot, it looks nicer under Leopard, but it's till PPC code, so it will run through Rosetta.
