Hi guys don't know if you can help.
I have 1005 songs on my 3GS 8gb and it's taken up 5gb of memory. Does this seem right?
I hardly have any apps on the phone due to lack of space left. I have only got 700mb of space left.
Any help would be appreciated.

Well, you could have iTunes compress your music down to a lower bit rate, otherwise, don't know what to tell you. Music does take up space.

yes that sounds pretty normal.

try using iCloud and iTunes Match to free up some space and still have access to your music.

iTunes Match is a no brainer. A one off payment and all you music is there for your listening pleasure.

Download listen remove, Download listen remove, Download listen remove etc.
