hi

my i book se 366 failed to boot up and when i looked inside thier was no memory except the so called onboard so i typed dev /memory .properties and this said no device found i brought this off a mate is the memory the cause of the boot problem or something else.

help would be nice !!!!!!

well if it said no device found thers no onboard memory dude..or its unfunctional anyways..
if it was detecting any, as I had written in your earlier post, it would say something like
device type memory
reg 000000 000000000
slot-name somthin like 00005 (for built in)
sodimm0/........
sodimm1/......

So....as far as I can say..its not detecting any memory...hence no bootup. sorry
