Memory upgrade - does it reduce battery life?

Hi everyone,

I've just ordered my new 2014 13 MBA. I paid a bit extra and upgraded the memory to 8GB as I need it to last at least 2.5 years.

Does doubling the ram increase energy consumption? If so, are we looking at a negligible difference?

It's more curiosity than anything else, I'm certainly not changing my mind.

Yes, but it would be so small I doubt anyone would noticed unless you are counting minutes lol
