I am curious if anyone knows if the DDR3 memory is compatible for the "old" macbook pro. I bought my MBP in September of 2008 with the intention of upgrading the memory to 4GB in the future, and I would like to get the best possible memory.

Is the new DDR3 memory module compatible with the "old" MBP?

Any assistance is appreciated,
Z

No DDR3 Memory will NOT fit in a DDR2 MBP.
