i just recently upgraded my 2009 iMac 20" to mt.lion. And iLife also many others and its starting to crawl.
I need to know what memory to buy and how to install it
If you need model specifics lmk

Check here Crucial or here Other World Computing. Both have Memory Advisor Tools to help you pick which RAM you need. They will give you the specs on the RAM you require, then you can order from you site of choice.

Ok I can get pc3 8500 ddr3 ram for apple computers for less $ but the part numbers on crucial's site are different, I have a early 2009 20" iMac with 2gb ram now and I want 8gb..... What does the "BC" and "FR16" mean in "Ct51264bc1067.fr16" ? Because these two codes change slightly from different pc3 8500 ddr3 ram cards
