I'm seeing some very surprising memory usage on SL. This is on an MBP with 4Gig of RAM.
This is the "top" and the first number is "Real Memory" (i.e., RAM) while the second is virtual memory. I find it a little disturbing that the terminal managed to climb to > 1Gig of RAM! (Never mind almost 300M for the finder with a single window open).
Has anybody seen this? I just grabbed iTerm to see whether I could help reduce the footprint a bit.
Code:

0 kernel_task root 1.4 69 198.3 MB Intel 1:08:10.30 46.9 MB
4494 Safari ldm 0.9 15 196.7 MB Intel (64 bit) 57:01.16 333.9 MB
