Mensa Sudoku Book

Okay, So I have this Mensa Sudoku book that says its only rule is to not guess. They have the answers in the back but they don't tell you how they got them. Can someone get a new number in the following puzzle and more importantly tell me how they got it.

[Abstract]

Glad to see you finished your post this time before posting it.


1. You never have to guess in Sudoku, so that's not just a Mensa rule, nor is this a specially designed, "Mensa" difficult Sudoku.

2. While I'm quite good at them, there's no way I'd help you by looking at it this way. I could redraw it, but it'll take too long.

If I have free time tomorrow, I'll draw out a grid and give it a shot.
