hi guys
i have just got an extra screen for my macbook pro and i am loving it.
The only thing a i want to do now is to get the menu bar displayed on both screens. I have them set up on 'extra display' ( ? ) mode rather than mirrored display.
So, anyway to clone the menu bar on to my new screen?
cheers guys....

Not that I know of. I have been wondering the same thing for years. When you extend your desktop, you are extending just the desktop. Your main monitor will maintain the menu bar. I guess that this is apple's way of making it easier for you to find your menu bar, but it really isn't easier...:(
