I was messing around in the system files earlier and couldn't help clicking a few things in the menubar extras folder, problem is now I have the VPM, Superdrive Eject, And The Home Sync icons stuck in my menu bar. The big problem is I cannot find where the option is to get these things out of my menu bar. Yeah it isn't a devastating problem but its kinda annoying cause I don't want those things in my menu bar so someone please help.

Go to System Preferences and remove one by one, i.e. to remove the VPN one go into the Network Preferences and make it disappear by changing the display on menu bar setting.

Alright I managed to get the VPN one gone but I still need help on the superdrive and home sync.

I hate to admit it but my network icon appeared in my menu bar and I can't seem to find a way to remove it either. So for now I'm with you and watching this thread for ideas? There is no option in preferences to remove it. There is on all the other network connection BT, Firewire, Airport etc but not on the Hard wired connection.

<-> is the icon I have that i can't remove. (too lazy at the moment 4 a ss)
