So I noticed this before I updated to Sonoma 14.6.1 over the weekend, and it continues after update.

When I first start the Mac up fresh, the menu bar text and Apple logo are white. As soon as I click one of them they all go black and stay that way until next reboot.

Has anyone else seen this? Second bug I seem to have had for a while now. Not stopping anything working, but very odd.

Since some time I have a similar problem: on my cMP4.1 (upgraded to 5.1) I installed 11.7.10 Big Sur which ran fine for some time. At some point (maybe an Open Core update?) the background of the menu bar rendered transparent. Now the the left part of the menu bar is not visible anymore and can not be used (Apple menu and entries like File, Edit, etc.); only the right part of the menu bar (icons like wifi, sound, etc.) can be used just found this thread: Missing half of top menu bar).
So any app is nearly unusable.

I tried to change the menu bar behavior via the system settings but did not have any luck.

Does anyone know how to solve this? Any help is highly appreciated.

I'm running 15.2 now and still see the menu bar issue frequently when starting up.
