is there any way to increase the text size of that text..?? I cant find it...any reliable 3rd party app available to do that? thanks all ----mojave 10.14.3

System Preferences > Displays, switch to "Scaled" in Resolution and you should have some choices. See the attached screenshot.
Hmm.. that's interesting. I had assumed that, since you were running macOS Mojave, you would have the same scaling options as my 2017 MacBook Pro. I also know that the 27 inch iMacs - Best Buy display models - have the same scaling as my machine. Please forgive my incorrect assumption.
oh sure...thanks...I guess I should have mentioned it damned if you do damned if you don't ...retina seems to be the hang up thanks-- so far I don't think it can be done at least by apple- maybe some third party thing is I am trying to alleviate tech neck...
Ah, ok, you must be using an older machine. Hopefully someone can chime in with some options for you.
