I installed Mavericks yesterday, and the feature I was most looking forward to was the ability to use a second monitor more flexibly.

I've found that with some apps - notably Plex - if I go fullscreen in the second monitor, the menu bar stays on top. This doesn't happen if I go fullscreen on my main monitor.

Any idea how to fix this, without disabling the new features entirely?

I have the same problem when going fullscreen on Netflix and trying to do work on the other screen. The menu bar appears out of nowhere, and there's no way to remove it.

I figured out a work around. If you go to System Pref>Displays>Arrangement and move the menubar to the screen you're trying to watch Netflix on it should disappear.
