How can I merge a couple of songs (that form a mixtape) into one long song/file?

Thanks in advance!

Nevermind, I think I got it ... Link

Doug's Applescripts to the rescue!
I'll try this one out.

Try Audacity for Mac which is a very simple audio editor. Didn't notice Tomorrow already told you about Audacity. I think we were writing the post at the same time! :D

Also, You can do it with a bunch of applications which offer you a minimum amount of audio editing such as Logic Express/Pro, Soundtrack Pro, Final Cut Express/Pro (yes, you can do this with FC). I don't know if you could do this with GarageBand.

:apple:

You could try Audio Hijack, which digs into whatever application you're using for the audio tracks, and records them as one .aiff file (good quality).

Conversely, you can use AH to split off individual tracks from one long recording.
