merging movie clips

ok i have 9 clips i would like to merge together without using imovie. I know imovie works, but the exporting takes much longer than i know some software does, so does anyone know a good application that can do this? thanks.

I'm fortunate enough to own VisualHub, which is discontinued but does almost every video task I need. Here are some alternatives:

After a little more digging, it looks like VideoMonkey is the offspring of VisualHub.
