Merging two BluRays

Hello,

I am using makeMKV and HandBrake to rip BluRay for my AppleTV and iPad2. Just got the Lord Of The Rings extended edition trilogy on BluRay and the movies are on two BluRay disks each. What is the best way to merge into a single file? I have downloaded mergeMKV so I will try that, but wanting to ask if this is the preferred method before I start processing these large files.

Use the MKVmerge GUI. it's part of MKVtoolnix and it's pretty easy to use.
