I want to wish each and every one of you a Merry Christmas or Happy Holiday. I hope however you choose to spend the day tomorrow, I hope it is a good and uplifting day for you, whether you spend it alone or with family etc.
It hasn't been an easy year for any of us. There have been a lot of life changes (some good and some bad). And throughout the year, MacRumors has been a fortress of solitude for me where I can interact with friends and strangers, share some information, laughs at times, as well as a few curt words.
In regards to curt words, I know I can be very pedantic at times which doesn't make for a convivial interaction in said moments. To those who I have spoken to in such a manner at times, I apologize. You know who you are. I try to get along well with everyone here to the best of my ability but, at times I have failed. I hope you will see fit to forgive my terse replies and hopefully, next time our interaction will be more productive and jovial.
I believe we all have times in our lives where we aren't our best (for various reasons). And as we interact with one another on the forum, I hope we all do a better job of trying to remember, that the person we are speaking with may be walking through a very deep valley or struggling over a mountain at the moment we interact. And in that moment, I will try and do better in pausing longer before replying and remembering that someone on the forum may be having it worse than me at the moment in time our paths cross on the forum.
This forum and the kind members here mean a lot to me. I am very thankful for the opportunity and ability to be a part of the forum. I appreciate the friendships that have been formed (in one way or another) with many people here, as well as the knowledge I have gained from those tech users smarter or more experienced than me in a particular area.
May this time be one that brings you much love and many endearing memories.
Kind regards,
Robert
