I upgraded to Mavericks last week. After configuring the message with google talk, Yahoo messenger and Facebook chat, I have a problem accessing contacts from the menu bar. The problem is like this: I let the status shown up in the menu bar (the balloon icon in the menu bar). When I click on that balloon icon on menu bar, I can see a list of contacts from all three accounts. Then if I click on one of my google talk contacts, message thinks the contacts is a Jabber contact from Facebook and I cannot sent message to that contact. It seems Message is confused by having two Jabber account (Google and facebook). If in the message preference I drag my Facebook account above the google account, message will recognize all jabber account as from Facebook. If I drag the google talk account above Facebook, it will recognize all jabber account as from Google. It only happens with Facebook and Google. Yahoo has no problem.
Does any of you have similar problem? Any way to solve the issue or just wait for the updates?
