Message deleting on series 3 gps

I'm thinking about purchasing a series 3 with GPS.. my question is if I delete text messages off of the watch would it also delete them off of my iPhone 6 Plus ? Or do I have to manually delete them off of each device ?

You will need to manually delete them off of both devices. Once the iMessages in the cloud thing gets working they will be in sync as long as you have that enabled.

That is my understanding, yes. But currently you need to manually delete them off of both devices which is a CHORE on the watch. I haven't deleted messages from my watch since maybe April, it would take forever for me to go back through them and delete them at this point.
