Earlier today, I was typing a very long email in mail.app on my imap gmail account. I copied and pasted the message into 2 compose windows to personalize each message. After editing I clicked "send" on both messages individually.
Neither message actually sent. It is not in my outbox and not in sent messages. I also checked gmail web interface and the messages are nowhere to be found.
Mail also (apparently) failed to save either message.
Any idea how I can retrieve these messages?
They couldn't have just disappeared!
I am running 10.5.5 and newest version of mail.app
