Message go through

hi iMessage a friend about somthing that was meant for another friend. The message didn't go through it didn't pop up delivered. So I sent as a text and it didn't deliver since I use my phone as an iPod you can say. Will the person still get the message?

Yes. You send it as a text message you said.
Texts will never display delivered or read receipt messages.
Also what do you mean you're using the phone as an iPod?
And does your friend use an idevice or other non Apple phone?

I understand that but since I have a SIM card this has no service it poped up as not delivered. My friend uses an iPhone 5. Will it still go through??

I see.
If the sim has no service then it will never go thru as a regular text.
Go to settings, messages, iMessage send/receive.
What's selected there? Apple ID and phone number or just phone number?

Ok and if you were on wifi then it went thru as iMessage.
And your friend with the i5 has imessages enabled right?
