When I receive a new text it alerts me at the top and I see some of what it says. Before it used to stay there for about 4-5 seconds then disappear. Lately it just stays there until you tap it and see the message. Pretty annoying if you're doing something on the phone and can't check it yet. Anyone got a fix?

have you tried just swiping off to the left or right? i know this is a feature to get it to go away faster.

not sure about having it just sit there though. Are you saying it just won't go away? or its just persistent longer than normal?

It will stay there permanently until the screen locks after 5 minutes. I have to press the notification to get rid of it.

I have had this happen too, their doesn't "appear" to be any pattern to it, and it doesn't happen all the time. Granted I haven't really looked in to it because I'm either at school or work, but I do have the issue. It's good to know I am not the only one, I don't have a fix though. I just have to do the little slide to dismiss the message if I am not ready to check it.

Turns out a hard reset fixes it :)
