Does anybody know what this is and how to stop it from popping up? Just started seeing it today on my iMac. I tried searching here and the web but no luck.

When does it pop up? How long does it stay up? Is it random or regular? Can you force it to go away? Anything special in the dock showing up? What is in the menubar when it pops up? Is the application in front always the same app?

Not an email attachment. It just pops up randomly. Nothing special in the dock. If I click on it it goes away. The menu bar just stays with whatever application I was using. I thought maybe it was an alarm on the clock but I don't see anything in those settings to do it.

I had clicked on it while typing this message and it just reappeared and there is a gong sound. I'm in Safari right now but it has happened when Entourage was my program too.

I don't have any reminder apps on there.

I'm pointing to the message in the window not the desktop.
