Messages and Location

Messages now lets you send your exact location. I can see the problems:

Mary (texting): "Where are you? Are you with Sally?"

John (at Sally's pad): "No, I'm in a meeting. I'll call you later"

Mary: "Really? Text me your exact location"

John: (gulp!)

If a relationship gets to that point, it's pretty much already over.

Same can apply to a phone call and hearing something in the background. There's nothing new in any of this except to basically use your head and pay attention to what you are doing (if you actually need to be careful about something for some reason).

Turn off location services. Problem solved.
