Hello,
I have a Macbook air running Mac OS X Yosemite and also an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.1.2.
Whenever, on my Mac, I open the Messages app and try to send an iMessage to my contacts, the contacts aren't recognized as iMessage users, unless I add country and region code before their numbers. It only recognize international numbers (example: here in Brazil it is +55 for Country then 48 for Local Region and then 9999-9999 for the number; I only save my local contacts using the 9999-9999 number, without adding +55 and the region code)
In Messages app of my iPhone the contacts are saved in the same way (only their numbers, without region and country code; as the example above, only 9999-9999) but I still can send them iMessages properly.
Is there a way to fix it?
I already have set Brazil as my country in Messages app and Contacts app.
