Messages app ID merging

In Apple's WWDC keynote they mentioned that your phone number and Apple ID will be unified. I have both iOS6 and Mountain Lion and I can't find the option anywhere. Am I missing it somewhere? Without that option it makes the Mountain Lion messages app quite lame.

Can't find it either...maybe they're waiting until the final release?
 
I expect this feature and VIP to not be in OS X at all until iOS 6 comes out.

Honestly this makes ML a bit of a bummer, a lot of the promised features are getting held back because of iOS 6.

VIP has been in ML since the first or second DP.
