the messages app on my apple watch is showing conversations that no longer exist on the phone (they were deleted days ago).
any ideas why the watch app is still showing these? isn't it supposed to keep sync with the phone?

so if i delete a text from either device it doesn't sync (in any direction) ?
that seems a design flaw as i then need to do the same thing on each device.

it seems to be able to sync that i've received a TXT on each device - so clearly it's not the case that sync a TXT is not possible.

Sorry, I worded that wrongly. What I meant to say was that texts will synchronise when they come in, but bizarrely they won’t sync-delete. So if I delete one on my watch it doesn’t delete on my phone and vice versa. Absolutely crazy, but then this is Apple we are talking about.
