I have a 2013 Macbook Air on Yosemite. Every time I wake my computer up and log in, within a minute or two messages starts syncing all that it missed while it was asleep. What is strange is that as it updates it is constantly making the new message sound and popping up new message notifications in the top right of the screen until its completely up to date.. Honestly it is quite annoying sometimes to see a steady stream of old "new" messages constantly popping up and dinging for like a minute straight every time I wake my mac. Does everyone else experience this or just me? It seems like this is a bug. Once the mac is on then it generally stays in sync correctly as new messages come in.
Feel free to pass me off to other threads that may have covered this already. I could not find anything else.
