messages app- unread # dosen't clear

I know its a beta, but does anyone have the issue that the unread badge stays even if you read all the messages?
Any way to force clear it?

Same issue here - only way I have found is to restart your computer. Closing it or Force Quit does nothing and leaves the badges there

Sometimes a restart helps. But you said it, it's a beta. We'll just have to wait for an update.

Open Terminal.
Type in 'killall Dock' ( without the ' ' ) and hit enter.

That'll take care of it.

I use this widget for things like this... it quits/restarts the Dashboard and Dock...
