I've been using iMessage on my MacBook that can't update to Mountain Lion and then carry the conversation on my iPhone. It's well past the option to download it, that much is sure, but will it ever stop working? I thought there would be an expiration date where where I would have to uninstall it all together, but I haven't encountered any problems. It runs like a finished product. Today none of my accounts were working, whether it be iMessage, AIM, or Google Talk. I thought that it finally expired, but I reinstalled it (never, ever deleting that .dmg) and it's working fine again! :D I think I'm one of few people that still uses it on Lion. Does anyone know if there's an exact date it's supposed to stop working?
