Messages Cannot Send Pictures

Hello all,

I recently did a clean install of Mountain Lion since I was experiencing difficulties with a few programs like Sparrow, Deus Ex, and Safari with my previous install.

Everything is working great except for iMessages.

I can receive pictures but I cannot send pictures on my laptop. Text is fine on my laptop and it works perfectly on my iphone.

I already restarted, deleted the plist twice, and the file transfer window still says

"Sent Zero KB of x KB"

I'm stumped. I have no idea what to do next- ideas?
