So I added a Google Talk account to Messages on Yosemite, however I can't seem to change any of its settings, including the location label that my contacts will see (it's stuck on the default of my computer name).
In fact, the only settings I can change are the description, nickname and number of messages for chat rooms. The weird thing is though that I already have a different Google Talk account setup and I can edit that just fine. Both are being shared to other machines via iCloud, so it doesn't seem to be that. Any idea why I can edit one and not the other?
I've already tried removing and re-adding the account in both Messages and Internet Accounts, and it makes no difference.
All I really want to do is make sure that my location label comes up as something like "Home" rather than the name of my computer as I don't see why people should see that.
