Messages coming in twice

Since the upgrade to iOS 6, some of my messages from people come in twice at the same time.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Is one message listed as iMessage and one SMS? I had that happen a couple times a week or so ago when iMessage was having issues, but not since then. I think I heard if you turn iMessage off and then back on, it may fix the problem.

Nope. The person sending doesn't have iMessage.

Duplicate text messages are always due to Network Issues in the area of the sender. Should have nothing to do with your phone.

Ive noticed this in iOS 5 as well, it alerted me twice, must be a bug.
