Okay, so we've all seen how pretty the Messages app looks on Yosemite when viewing the main conversations window. But is anyone using it for non-SMS or iMessages accounts, i.e - AIM, Jabber etc.?

In particular, how's the handling of the buddy list, has Apple actually done anything to improve it? I keep trying to switch over to Messages, but the buddy list always puts me off as it's ugly and clunky, especially when it means having a separate window. Is it integrated into the main window yet, or do I still have to open a conversation with every single buddy on my list, just so I can close the buddy list window?
