Messages from Backup

This is my first time setting up a watch from a backup. Everything seemed to transfer over from my old watch just fine, except for messages; which are completely blank.

Is this unusual? Thanks.

If memory serves, I had a similar issue when setting up my S3 earlier this year. I'm not sure what the culprit could be, but I would recommend rebooting each device.

Another thing -- look under "Messages" in the Watch app on your phone, and make sure that "Mirror my iPhone" is checked.
