So I am having a weird issues having moved from the 13 pro to the 14 pro. the 13 pro was running 16 (20A362) the 14 pro was out of the box and then updated to 16.1 beta 1 and then beta 2. I did the transfer from the old phone to the new. Messages in icloud were on. Completes the restore with out issue but what was weird is messages was saying uploading to the cloud.
The issue is that on both phones the icloud messages aren't appearing correctly as I scroll through the list of threads. It keeps changing how far back it goes. But when searched the messages and threads are on the phone and pop up and once that happens they show with all the other threads. Then later they disappear.
The histories on my ipad and macbook are fine.
Any thoughts. Have contacted apple and also have tried having both phones connected to wifi and plugged in over night. Have toggles messages in cloud on and off on the old phone now to try and see if that works but doesn't appear to.
Cloud storage shows 15 GB of storage for messages.
Any ideas?
