Messages in Cloud Photos

Hi,
Ive seen mixed messages and photos synching in the new 11.4 messages in the cloud?

Can anyone confirm if the photos in iMessage should duplicate or erase or is it just text?

I erased tons of images within texts on my iPhone but they are all still there on my Mac.
Not sure if they will or supposed to sync back

Side note, any faster way to browse and erase these on a Mac than 1 by 1?

For me it’s only text, still have to delete images separately. Shame really

On Mac: click on one and then cmd + a
