Messages in iCloud ruined Messages service

Ever since Messages in iCloud came out, it ruined the Messages app. Not only it never synced, now I rarely receive messages on my Mac anymore. SMS never arrives to the Mac app, and iMessages do show up sometimes, some others they don't.

How I revert this mess?

I turned it all off. Didn't work tho

Damn how come does Apple s*k this much on syncing
