In Messages, if the Messages window is closed and someone messages me, I'm not getting any notifications (set to alert) and the Messages window doesn't open up automatically. The only way I can tell that I've received a message is by looking at icon on the Dock. It shows the number of messages in the badge.

I've tested this with focus on the Messages app and focus on Finder. If the Messages window is not up, I'm not getting anything but the badge. Tested on an iMac and MacBook Pro. Installed ML as an upgrade on both and not as a clean install. It's pretty annoying because I have my dock set to auto-hide so I don't see the badge until I move my mouse down there. Also, Messages is set to repeatedly bounce in the dock when I receive a message. It's doing that but doesn't unhide the dock.

Anyone else having this issue?
