Messages menu bar notification or similar

Hello,

I use Messages a lot on my Mac, but I have a rMB and I like keeping my dock hidden. However in this way I don't see the unread badge icon on the Messages app for the conversation I have the do not disturb feature on. Is there any app which can give me the unread status notification in the menubar o any app that does it on any side of my desktop?
