Messages NOT Deleting/Mirroring with iPhone

I keep deleting messages from my iPhone but it's NOT deleting from my watch. I have my notifications to mirror my iPhone and have my messages to mirror my iPhone in the Apple Watch app. It's driving me crazy that I have to delete messages twice in both devices.

Anyone else having this problem? Am I doing something wrong?

I have to delete them from both locations, which is kind of annoying. I have to do the same thing in between my iPhone and iPad as well.

Hopefully it'll be fixed in a future software update.
