After updating having a real pain in the arse getting i messages on my mac. Im running ios 5 on my iphone could this be the conflict i hate iOS 6 at the moment any ideas on what i can do thanks

Do you have iMessages on your iPhone turned on? Only thing I can think of for your situation, is when iMessages is turned off on your phone, but you're sending messages from the computer, because it goes through your email on the computer, it won't sync with with your phone until you turn iMessages back on. That's what I discovered
